
Get Mountain Fit is a 6-week intensive boot camp designed to prepare you physically and mentally to take on a mountain.
Based in Shropshire and the Welsh Borders, this programme focuses on building real-world strength, endurance, confidence, and mountain-ready skills — not just general fitness. Everything you’ll work on over the 6 weeks has a clear purpose, with the option to put it all into practice on a guided mountain hike at the end of the programme.
This isn’t about racing anyone else or hitting arbitrary fitness targets. It’s about feeling capable, confident, and prepared in a mountain environment.


Training takes place across the week to build consistency, strength, and endurance:
Sessions are designed to progressively prepare you for longer days on your feet, varied terrain, and time spent outdoors.


At the end of the 6 weeks, participants who feel ready will have the option to join a guided mountain hike.
There will be a 2-week gap between the end of the boot camp and the hike to allow for recovery and preparation. Participation in the hike is optional and dependent on readiness.
